Use your Hotmailsignin to send and receive email messages now! MSN Hotmail is a free service to use for email. You can sign in using Hotmail, Live, Outlook and MSN email addresses. You will need to enter your password you created for your Hotmail account. When you sign in to Hotmail you have access to all of Microsoft’s services.
Hotmail sign in is currently available in almost all countries and in many different languages. You can sign in to Hotmail by either using webmail or the Hotmail app. A Hotmail sign in also works using an email client such as Thunderbird for example. In order to login to Hotmail, MSN, live or Outlook you will need to go to the official homepage. This can be located by typing in login.live.com to your browser or following this link: https://login.live.com/. For security purposes, always make sure you are on the official page. By going to Hotmail.com, you can also access your email. Hotmail now redirects to live.com. Also, it is not recommended that you enter your Hotmail information from a public computer.
Once you are on the Hotmail login page, you will need to locate the sign in form. There will be 2 fields and a checkbox. The first field is where you enter the email associated with your Microsoft account. Once you enter your Hotmail, Live, MSN, Outlook email address you need to go to the next field and enter your password.
The final option is if you want Hotmail to remember your ID. This will save you a little bit of time when signing in from the same computer the next time. Once again, never use this option from a public computer.
Once you are done, click the ‘Sign In’ button. If your information is correct you should be able to access your Hotmail inbox and other MS services.
Create Hotmail Account
If you do not have a Hotmail email address you can create a Hotmail account in less than a minute. Creating a Hotmail account is free and very easy to do. To get started creating your account, look for the section on the login page that says ‘No account? Create one!’. Click the link and you will be taken to a new page where you can make your own Hotmail login.
Now, you will be required to fill out the basic form. This asks for information such as your first and last name, phone number, gender, etc. The default option is to sign up with a previous email address. If you want a Hotmail sign in you need to change a setting on the page.
Look for the username field. Below the field you will see a small link that says ‘Get a new email address.
Once you find the link, click on it and the option to create a Hotmail account will appear. You can select from either Hotmail or Outlook. By default, outlook.com is selected. To change this click on the drop down option and select hotmail.com.
Now all you have to do is fill out a username. This will be your email address. If the username is taken, you can try other variations.
Complete the rest of the form ad you will have your own Hotmail sign in.
What to do if you forget your Hotmail login password
We all forget our passwords at times. Recovering your Hotmail login password is simple. If you have happened to forget your password, just follow these simple steps and you will be able to sign in to Hotmail once again.
First thing you want to do is to go to the Hotmailsignin page. Instead of logging in, you are going to look for the password recovery option right below the login form. This tool will work for any Microsoft account password.
Go ahead and click on the link where you will be taken to a new page. Microsoft will give you a few different options for you to choose from. Select the option that fits your situation for trouble signing in to Hotmail.
After you make your selection, click on the next button. A new screen will appear.
You can now reset your Hotmail sign in. Fill out the information on the form that is relevant to your account. Enter the captcha that is displayed to you. Click next and you will need to verify a few more pieces of information to recover your Hotmail, Outlook, MSN or Live account. Once everything is correct, you will receive a pass code. This will allow you to reset the password to your Hotmail sign in.
